Pink, of whom we have all come to love in the music world is touring around Australia at the moment and her shows are proving super popular with die hard fans lining up for hours to attend her shows.

Pink, aka Alecia Moore began her career in clubs and pubs at age 14. Her singing went on from there and she became part of an all girl group named Choice. They only had one hit song out and it was from there that she decided to go it alone and break out into the music industry.

Pink’s first major hit song ‘Most Girls’ was a huge hit in Australia and this is where we bascially first met Pink. We fell in love with her quirky songs, her clothing and her attitude.

It was not long after this that she teamed up with Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim, Mya and Christina Aguilera to record a cover of the Labelle song ‘Lady Marmalade’.

In 2001 Pink brought out the smash album, Missundazstood. The ever popular song ‘Lets Get This Party Started’ was a number one hit in all countries and especially on dancefloors around clubs.

Try This in 2003 saw Pink team up with Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong in the songwriting stakes. The pair co-wrote eight of the album’s songs. The single ‘Feel Good Time’ was co-written by indie megastar Beck and producer William Orbit.

Then came the ever sucessful album, ‘I’m Not Dead’ after a short break from music. This album was an phenomon with some of her best work on this one album.
The album was certified eight times platinum in Australia.

Her latest album, ‘Funhouse’ which was released in 2008 has proven even more popular with die hard fans anticipating her next album. Her concerts have been sell outs and her shows have been dubbed ‘spectacular’ as she moves her music around the country.
