Mitch Winehouse, has said that Amy is now drug free and well on the way to living a normal life. He also states that they nearly lost her several times because she was so ill on drugs.
“People dont want her to get better, but she is better”, he has told ‘Hello!’ Magazine.
He has gone on to say how people didn’t see her when she was lying in a dark room and twice came close to dealth. He also claims his family has been working hard to get her to where she is now.
But Winehouse, 25 who is currently holidaying in the Carribean on the island of St Lucia, has been reportedly binge drinking and annoying other holiday makers at the resort with her erratic behaviour. To follow up these allegations about Amy’s behaviour, photo’s were printed in the Daily Mail last week of her crawling around on all fours, begging guests for drinks after the staff refused to serve her any more liquor.
To add to the embaressment of her stay at the island, Amy was also reported in the Daily Mail as enganging in a romantic tryst with actor, Josh Bowman. Her husband Blake Fielder found out about the liasion and has since filled for divorce from his jail cell.
Amy’s father contacted his daughter as soon as possible when he read the story and told her about her impending divorce with Amy questioning, “Daddy, why does he want to divorce me?”. Mitch went on to explain that her liasions with another man while she was on holiday’s was not what marriage was all about.
