The hugely popular, and mostly anticipated come back of the 80’s family show, Hey Hey It’s Saturday, has got it’s show off to a flying start with the host already having to make a public appology for a racist act that appeared on the Red Faces segment that is hugely popular with viewers.
Harry Connick Jnr, who was one of the guest judges on the show for the segment, was appauled by a skit act that was done by some contestants trying to pull off the Jackson 5. The members had worn black wigs and painted their faces black, whilst the last member came out wearing a black wig and had his face painted white, to act like Michael Jackson.
Connick Jnr was so disgraced by it all he gave them a big fat zero as a result, and later added “I know it was done humorously, but we’ve spent so much time trying not to make black people look like buffoons that when we see something like that we take it really to heart. I know it was in good fun and the last thing I want to do is to take this show to a down level, because you know how much I love this show and this country.”
He added, “If I knew that was going to be part of the show, I probably, I definitely, wouldn’t have done it.”
Daryl Sommers, who was the original host and was looking forward to the greatest come back show of the year, has been embaressed by it all and made an appology stating he never meant to offend.

It is well known in showbiz that if you are not the talk of the moment, you might as well be ‘expired goods’.
Rest assured that the list compiled below is not just for those with grey hairs and who try to make themselves look younger, there are some suprisingly young and aspiring actresses that made the cut. Spike TV’s list is :
1. Nicole Kidman, who made her claim to fame on the big screen such as , Moulin Rouge and Australia. Surpisingly she comes in at number one.
2. Terri Thatcher, who we all still love in Desperate Housewives, but she ranks in at number two.
3. Who didn’t love Riding In Cars With Boys? The classic, fun loving movie that thrust Drew Barrymore into the spot light once more, but she still gets the gong in the number three position.
4. Helen Hunt? Whose Helen you ask? Well, she worked along side Jack Nicolsen … and well, you know the rest, she makes our cut at number four.
5. Renee Zellweger, who once stared along side Mr Tom Cruise! She was a popular actress and a well paid one too, but now it seems the star is not in demand, so she gets the number five position on this count.
6. Lindsay Lohan, well, no suprise here! After all her drunken antics and her very public relationship break down with Samantha, it’s of no suprise directors are not looking to her to star in any films of lately. Enough said.
7. Sarah Jessica Parker?? Who would have thought? The famous actress who is well know for her role as Carrie Bickmore on SATC, makes the top ten cut! What a shame, but we doubt she will care less, she has two gorgeous twins to keep her busy now.
8. Meg Ryan, the once loved star of Hollywood, who has stared in some big hit films is now flying in at number eight.
9. Cameron Diaz, the star of Something About Mary, who shot to stardom-hood and the voice over charector in the popular children’s flick, Shrek, is now deemed ‘expired’.
10. Julia Roberts, Hollywoods most loved actress with that great big grin, and of course, lets mention her role in Pretty Woman! HELLO!??? That flick is still popular today! Sighs.

Nicole Richie was hospitalized after her car she was driving was rear ended by some photographers trying to get a snap shot of the new mom.
The star, who recently gave birth to her second child two weeks ago, was hospitalized for minor pain after the incident did not need to be transported by ambulance at the time. Thankfully her two children were not in the vechicle at the time of the collision.
As for the driver of the vechicle who rear ended Ms Richie, he was taken into the police station as normal and is thought to be charged with a misdemeanour traffic offence.

It has come to light that talk show host David Letterman had a long affair with his former assistant who worked on the popular late night show with him.
The woman at the center of all this attention is Stephanie Birkitt, 34 worked as an intern for the talk show host back in 1996. Their relationship is believed to have ended in 2003. It is reported that the woman started a relationship with CBS employee Robert Halderman, who is the producer of crime show 48 Hours.
The CBS employee and Birkitt blackmailed Letterman for a reported 2.3 million dollars for silence money to keep the affair the talk show host and his employee had whilst she was working for him. The plot spurred the TV host to acknowledge on the air that he had relationships with female staffers on his show.
The veteran of late night tv, who is married and has a five year old son with her, made jokes on his show at his own expense over the incident proving his sense of humour was still in tact even after being threatened.
Halderman entered his plea as he was arraigned on an attempted grand larceny charge on Friday in a Manhattan court. He posted the $230,000 bail and was released from custody.

Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, has made claims that her father died from being overworked. The youngster has come out stating this to family and friends in the months after her loved father’s passing.
Jackson, who was set to do 10 concerts for the ‘This Is It’ tour, had his schedule increased to a whopping 50 shows when in the planning stages, of which he had publicly complained about.
The ammount of shows that were planned for his final tour were said at the time to be a rediculous ammount. But it is young Paris’s words in grief that have you wondering.
“What happened is they worked him too hard.” These harsh words from his 11 year old daughter won’t bring back the mega star, but will keep those in question feeling guilty for some time to come.

Take a sneak peak inside little Suri Cruise’s wardrobe and you will find lots of nice expensive things!
A reported 3.6 million dollars was spent on clothes for the toddler over the past few years. And good friend Victoria Beckham has had a lot to do with the youngsters eye for fashion with her apparently asking Robert Cavilli to make a dress exclusively for the tot. With Tom and Katie, Suri’s parents, being good pal’s with the Beckham’s it’s no wonder the toddler will have a great sense of fashion with her mother and Victoria in her life.
It was only brought into pictures last week the youngster strutting around with her mother wearning high heels.
Watch out for this little fashionista in the making! Runway anyone?

‘The times they are a changin’‘..
Kelly Osborne, who is famously known as Ozzie Osborne’s daughter is apparently set to do a shoot for Playboy Magazine.
The shrinking star who has just done a stint on Dancing With The Stars and reportedly lost quite a few pounds slimming down from a size 12 to a size 8 in next to no time!
The star who once battled a weight problem and is now said to be in the best shape of her life says, “It’s so amazing,” she told Star magazine, “I’ve tried so many stupid fad diets to try to lose weight, when all I needed to do was start dancing.”
So it was Hef who thought it would be good to have her pose nude for a shoot in his well known magazine, but it was the now tastful Kel who declined the offer through a rep stating ‘no thank you’.

It appears that the Ghost Whisperer star tells herself nice things each day in order to stay sane!
The actress told Shape Magazine that she tells herself kind words each day and always tells herself how beautiful she is.
“I fall asleep feeling beautiful,” she told the magazine.
“Then, in the morning, before I leave the house, I say five things I love about myself, like, ‘You have really pretty eyes’. That way I can go out into the world with that little bit of extra confidence.” “It’s a feel-good protein shake in my back pocket in case someone messes with me that day.”
It seems to be doing alright for her, considering she has never looked better than before! Keep up the good work Jen!

It has been told that singer and wanna-be actress, Lily Allen is retiring from the music industry.
The ‘former’ singer wrote on her blog that she remains “a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade…The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I’m concerned, so I don’t (at this point) stand to profit from legislation.”
Lily, who’s released two successful albums, has chosen not to renew her contract with EMI and says she has no plans for future tours or concerts.
The singer has tried her hand at acting and even had a role in the Aussie popular show Neighbours. So maybe acting is her next career move? We will have to wait and see…
Looks like actor Jude Law just became a father again for the fourth time around.
News has been reporting that Jude had a one night stand with Samantha Burke and she became pregnant to the hot actor. It is said that the women gave birth to a baby girl.
It is assumed that Law will be an active part in the babies life, but mainly financially.
Law has been in many relationships with many different women in the past few years and perhaps this is a learning lesson for Jude to keep things ‘covered’ in the future.

K-Fed, who is best known for his marriage to Britany Spears, has signed himself up for ‘bootcamp’ and is on a weight loss mission.
He is said to be happy with this weight but would like to shed some pounds. His ex (ex) wife, Shar Jackson will be joining him on the show.
K-Fat has signed up for the US reality show Celebrity Fit Club in an effort to burn off all those chilli dogs and cheesy fries (or whatever it is they eat in the States) and make a few bucks while he’s at it.
Isn’t he always searching for new ways to make a quick buck since he and his ex wife Brit split?

The man rumoured to be Michael Jackson’s illegitimate son has been tipped to play his own late (alleged) father in a movie about the King of Pop’s life.
Omer had been working as a Michael Jackson impersonator and now the Jackson family want him to play MJ in a movie which focuses on the golden years of his career — ie. the years before he was branded a paedophile.
“The family is close to Omer, as Michael was. He is a fantastic performer and they would like him to play the adult Michael,” a source tells The Sun.
Omer Bhatti grew up in regular contact with Michael and sat front row with the Jacksons at his funeral. British newspaper The Sun claims the 25-year-old is MJ’s son from a one night stand and that he has been staying at the Jackson family home since Michael’s death in June.
