Missy Elliot, who is the highest selling female rap artist of all time is set to bring her life to the big screen and allow us all a sneak peak into her life before she was famous right through her hard times she went through breaking into the music industry.

“I’m working on my own movie on my life,” Missy revealed while backstage at the American Music Awards after she picked up the gong for Favourite Female Artist for the second year running.

The movie should prove popular with fans alike and music industry critics when the movie comes out at the cinema’s.

“I went through a lot and I accomplished a lot, and I want people to know how it all went down,” she said.

If Eminem’s film about his life, Eight Mile was anything to go by, it should be a huge hit with fans.
