The world has gone into a spin with the recent revelations that Rihanna has in fact married abusive-boyfriend-singer, Chris Brown.
The singer had recently cut off all contact with her family, including that of her father who was her main supporter during her terrible ordeal when she was bashed so badly by Brown. Her whole family went into disbelief when they could not get in contact with their beloved Rihanna, even seeking information through her assistants to no avail.
Reports have it that Brown proposed to Rihanna when they were staying at P.Diddy’s mansion of recent. Brown appologised for his actions and told her how much he loves her and wants her to be a part of his life. Rihanna has always had a dream of being married and becomming mother before she is 25, so it has been reported she cried saying ‘yes’.
They wasted no time in making this decision as this was the first time the singer had seen Brown since that violent night. And they also wasted no time in getting hitched with Chris getting a minister to come to Diddy’s home to wed the pair.
Despite Browns promise to never lay a hand on her again, those closest to the singer- including her mother and mentor Jay-Z – are devestated she has gone ahead to say her ‘I do’s’. Now, he looks less like the villian because she has taken him back and not only that, has made him her husband.
While Rihanna’s decision has shocked many, experts have it that it is common for people to run back to those who have abused them. Quite simply, she is under his ‘spell’.
